The standard shipping is extremely…

The standard shipping is extremely slow. This may be the carrier’s fault. I will review the clothes, if I ever receive them.

Outstanding Experience

My granddaughter and I were shopping for her new school cloths. She is 11 years old and at that age that she is in-between children and adults sizing. We were not finding anything. We walked into the shop are were immediately greeted by both store employees with smile and asking what we were looking for. After explaining our situation they immediately started asking her what she likes and assisted her every step of they way. We were told what size ( 0 short) she needed. Lauren was elated and made to feel so special. I came in with a sad young lady and left with a very very happy shopper. This is her new go to shop and she can't wait to go back. Thank you Alyssa and Alicia ( Circleville, Ohio) for a much needed fantastic shopping experience!

Maurice's online

Beware of ordering from Maurice's online. I was notified on Aug. 4th that one item in my order was canceled due to it not being available. The other item was shipping and the third item would be shipping soon. I received the one item that was shipped and noticed online that the item not shipped dropped by $10. I contacted Maurice's and was told that the rest of my items were canceled. I was never notified, but the customer service representative stated that I was notified on Aug. 11th. I had no email she resent me the email but there was no date stamped from the initial email. Then here we are two days later from my supposedly email that my items were canceled and I went online and can order those two canceled item. So in two days Maurice's restocked. Beware they are not renting the truth to their customers online.

So I don't know why they have such low ratings. I'm pretty picky and order a a lot of stuff online. I'm not gonna say everything size wise was perfect but pretty true to size. I've had a pair of Jean shorts from maurices for over 2 years and I wear them a ton! I ordered about 20 things and happy to say I'm only going to return a few. If you want good clothing for a great price I'd say try them!

Disappointment. …

I was so disappointed in my latest shopping experience. I was not properly greeted when I came into the store, no one offered to tell me of latest promotions, no sales associate to check on how I was doing, wanted to use dressing room and just had to walk in and use one. No friendly associates couldn't find any to help. This is my first greatest disappointment! Not sure if I will return. Prices have really jumped and quality just isn't the same. So sad.

Unimpressed with Service and Shipping. Clothing Not Bad.

I placed an Order on Thursday, April 7,2022. Maurices had jeans with a long inseam (difficult to find), plus they have stores in Eastern Canada, so I thought they might be OK to order from.

First, I had to call Customer Service because they were charging $41 in taxes on an order in the amount of $128. In Alberta, we only pay 5% GST and no other sales tax, so $41 tax is a huge amount. The "tax" includes taxes plus duties.
The agent I spoke to agreed to provide an additional 20% off, to reduce the amount of taxes paid. I thought this was a very good gesture. Unfortunately, that was the best part of dealing with Maurices.
Their account/billing system is confusing -- they show a discounted price, but then also show a further deduction at the bottom, so it makes it look like there is a further discount off the discounted price shown. Nope. Their customer service agent that I emailed was unable to explain this until about 4 emails later.
From the last update in my Maurices account, I still believe they over-charged me, but only by about $10 so I'm not going to waste my energy dealing with any more customer service agents.

Maurices canceled one item in my order, even though it still showed up as available on Maurice's website. When I asked why that items was not included in my Order, I was advised that what is shown on their website is EVERYTHING they have in their warehouse and all stores. However, if the item is NOT in their warehouse and is ONLY in one of the stores, they will not ship it to you! So their website is actually very misleading as to what is available to order online.

I received a shipping confirmation on Tuesday, April 12,2022 advising my Order had been shipped via FedEx and provided a FedEx tracking number. I received no further updates, so I phoned FedEx on Saturday, April 16,2022. FedEx advised that only a label had been created by the shipper but FedEx had not yet received the package. So, my Order has been sitting around Maurices warehouse for another week, not being shipped.

Order was finally delivered on April 24th. When I contacted Maurices about the delay, they did kindly refund the shipping charge.
I actually do not mind the quality of the clothes. For the sale prices paid, I can't complain. Jeans are long enough and good quality. Two blouses are lightweight and fit well. Still wish I had received the 1 item they cancelled because they didn't have it in stock in their warehouse.

However, I would probably still avoid Maurices solely due to the Customer Service and actual availability of goods shown on their website.

Maurice's Women's Fashion and COMENTIY BANK: You just want clothes -- what you get is a credit scam

We bought clothes. They talked us into a credit card for 30% off. Great! Why not? They signed us up with COMENITY BANK. We always paid our bill on time, but when I noticed the exorbitant interest rate, I called to cancel. I closed out my account in February, paid in full over the phone. A month later, they sent me a bill for $9, with a threat of a $40 penalty for late payment, plus the presumed ding to my credit. When I phoned to pay it, they said it was a finance fee from when I paid off the balance. After much pressing on my part, they admitted that if I paid off the new $9, I would later be assessed the same finance fee... for paying off the $9. Fast-forward to now: a new bill for $11. When I called just now, it's actually up to $26. I see no end in sight at this point, and actually dont know how to get out from under this without them ruining my credit. Customer service call center seems to be in India. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MAURICE'S.

I sent in an order got the recieved…

I sent in an order got the recieved order email but can't find anything else. I have tried to contact them 3 different ways now and feels a little like the replies are generic. The email was asking about Canadian shipments how that works etc. I recieved an email saying something about covid. Tried he chat, might as well be talking to my cat. The couldn't understand my response....I just want to know how cross boarder shipping works. What's the expected time range but I haven't recieved anything even saying it's been packaged. And I've tried to look for a cancel my order and there's nothing. Even when I go to my orders, it says I have none. Disappointed for sure. Perhaps calling the card I paid with will be my only way out, cuz I can't get answers from anyone!

Credit Card Payment not acknowledged, despite being paid in-store

The bill was paid in full, 6 days early, in the store. The next credit card statement included interest and a $30 late fee. After spending hours on the phone, successive representatives with poor English skills denied that any payment had been made because they had no record of it. Bank statement confirmed payment was made (check cashed). A call to the store confirmed their record of the payment (I have the receipt and offered to provide it to the credit card rep). The store rep called the credit card dept. (3-way call) but they would not listen to her either! Not sure how to deal with such blind ineptitude.

Yes, to the store/send back, if paypal was used it can only be sent back, not returned to the store, happened to me
